Peninsula Square, Winchester is the former Greenjackets parade ground. We were asked to provide complete maintenance on the site, consisting of three areas. Perninsula Square, Constable gate, and Gar Street.

Perninsula square consists of 10 acres of formal grounds, centralised by a quad and lined with houses and flats. The site was transformed to housing in 2003 and then planting was designed and put in to complement the site.

The main quad consisted of a large expanse of gravel with a formal pond, surrounded by 6 lavender beds. Around these planted beds are yew tree cones and large plain trees. This is all meant to be reflect the former army site.

We are contracted to maintain the planted areas, as well as the surrounding areas and hardstanding areas. On the perimeters of the main quad are various other planted beds and boarders to maintain.

All waste has to be removed from site to keep the areas neat and tidy.
